His journey in the IT field began in December 1994, but his interest in technology started much earlier.

Early Interest in Electronics

During school, he was not deeply interested in academics, but he had a strong inclination toward Physics and Electronics. In Class 10, he created a Clap Switch project, which sparked his confidence in practical learning. After completing Class 12, he enrolled in ITI (Electronics Trade), where he developed a Remote Bell project as part of his training.

This became the foundation of his technical career.

1994–1997: Entry into the Computer Industry

In late 1994, he stepped into the world of computers. Technology fascinated him, and he quickly developed a strong understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting.

He started his professional career with PERTECH Computers Ltd. After just one month of training, he began handling fieldwork independently. Within the first three months, he was awarded:

  • Best Tech Care Engineer
  • ₹3,000 Cash Prize

This recognition significantly boosted his confidence. Over time, he grew from a Service Technician to a Service Manager, serving in this role until 1997.

1997–1999: Learning Without the Internet Era

In 1997, he moved into an academic role as a Hardware Instructor and Network Engineer at NIIT, a unit of HCL. At that time, he was handling servers with operating systems like Windows, Novell Netware, and UNIX.

This was an era when there was:

  • No Internet access
  • No YouTube
  • No online communities

Learning depended entirely on books and occasional interactions with experienced engineers. Despite limited resources and no mobile phones, he continued upgrading his skills through self-learning and practical exposure.

Seeking broader exposure, he joined a Delhi-based company, Progressive Infotech, and was posted in Lucknow. He handled reputed clients such as:

  • Sahara India
  • RBI
  • ARMY Command Hospital
  • Other government and institutional projects

However, the job involved extensive travel, heavy workload, low salary, and delayed reimbursements. Within a few months, he realized that long-term employment was not aligned with his goals.

He decided to take a bold step — to start his own business.

1999: Foundation of AK Computer Services

In September 1999, he established his own company: AK Computer Services.

In the very first month, he secured an order of 20 computers from a school, marking the true beginning of his entrepreneurial journey. He operated as a one-man army — managing sales, service, installation, support, and client relationships on his own.

His greatest achievement? Many clients acquired in 1999 are still associated with him in 2026. Their trust remains his biggest reward.

Collaboration Phase & Business Lessons

At one stage, he collaborated with computer dealers in Bareilly to establish East Plus Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Although the collaboration brought scale and exposure, after 3–4 years he realized that:

  • Ownership structure was unclear
  • Efforts were not proportionately rewarded
  • Growth vision was not aligned

Learning from this experience, he restarted his independent business operations around 2014, rebuilding AK Computer Services with stronger clarity and determination.

2017 Onwards: A Major Realization

Around 2017, he understood an important truth: technical expertise alone is not enough to grow a business.

To scale, one must also master:

  • Sales
  • Marketing
  • Client pitching
  • Business systems
  • Brand positioning

Even today:

  • Around 90% of the business comes through references and old clients
  • Annual turnover remains approximately ₹80,00,000
  • The business is stable and trusted
  • But growth has remained steady rather than exponential

2026: Where He Stands Today

With over 30 years of experience, he has:

  • Built a business from scratch
  • Sustained long-term client relationships
  • Survived industry changes
  • Maintained trust and credibility
  • Operated independently without external funding

What started as curiosity in electronics has evolved into a three-decade-long journey in the IT industry.

The Road Ahead

The next phase of his journey is focused on:

  • Scaling beyond survival mode
  • Strengthening marketing strategies
  • Building structured business systems
  • Expanding turnover from ₹80 lakhs to multi-crore levels

This journey has taught him resilience, adaptability, and the value of long-term trust. From 1994 to 2026, it has not just been a career — it has been a mission built on technology, learning, and persistence.
